Last Friday, on January 24th, learners joined us for a Karate Exploration. Sensei Pace came to VCA and demonstrated the arts of Japanese Karate. Karate is a form of martials arts and the word “karate” means “empty hand”. Learners enjoyed watching demonstrations, and also were able to learn proper form for the art of karate to avoid injury. Learners were able to practice their newly learned skills on the karate ring.
