On Friday, March 29th, VCA full-time learners and their families went to Eureka! STEM Museum in Grand Junction. It was a fun-filled experience with interactive displays and exhibits that covered many science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) topics. Learners were able to tweak, push, pull, drive, and spin, all in an effort to better understand the world in which we live. There were live critters, including lizards, snakes, fish, and other tropical creatures to look at and some, even to hold. There were air tubes, water cycles, tornados, earthquakes, electrical pulses, manipulative mirrors, and even the human body to explore. It was exciting and very educational!
